1. Sloped roof
Sloped roofs are generally more aesthetically pleasing, have a larger slope for easy rainwater drainage, and are easy to construct and maintain. In rainy areas, sloped roofs are commonly used.
Installing solar panels on sloped roofs does not require raised brackets or angle calculations. The panels can be laid according to the roof's inclination angle, and the installation capacity is not affected by area. Due to the large slope, it can also automatically clean the solar modules. The biggest advantage of installing solar panels on a sloped roof is the obvious architectural integration effect, meaning that it matches the roof perfectly without affecting the aesthetic appeal of the building and making the roof look high-tech.
2. Flat roof
A roof with a slope of less than 5% (2.86 degrees) is a flat roof. It saves time and effort, is simple and generous, and can be used as an activity space or drying area. However, flat roofs have slow drainage and are prone to leakage. In addition, in the summer, the roof becomes excessively hot.
For flat roofs, there are two main ways to install solar panels:
(1) Steel frame shed
The steel frame shed is an elevated support structure that installs solar panels. It is like adding a sunshade to the roof and will not affect the activity space of the roof.
(2) Support installation
This involves using a cement pier and photovoltaic bracket. To ensure power generation, the optimal tilt angle must be determined based on the geographical location of the area and actual conditions. In order to ensure that the front row of panels does not obstruct the back row, there should be enough space between the two rows of panels.
The biggest advantage of installing solar panels on a flat roof is heat insulation and cooling. Installing a solar energy system can reduce the temperature by 5-7 degrees, which is very effective.
3. Conservatory roof
A conservatory, also known as a glass room, is a fully transparent non-traditional building constructed from glass and metal frames to achieve the purpose of enjoying sunlight and being close to nature.
Adding a layer of solar power generation system on top of the conservatory not only reduces direct UV radiation but also provides daily electricity for home use.
4. Trendy choices
Installing a solar energy system on a roof not only has the effects of heat insulation, cooling, and aesthetic appeal but can also create green income, preserve the value of one's own roof, and contribute to environmental protection. With strong support from the government and rapid development of the photovoltaic industry, "home solar energy" systems are becoming standard and well-known investment products.
Once opened, the product is able to provide full brightness without glare and glare. This product can emit the maximum light output in just a few seconds.
